Terms of Service
These terms explain how BikeQuest works, what you buy, and the rules for using the app safely.
1. Seller and service
BikeQuest is sold by Alexis Mouville EI, micro-enterprise, SIREN 101 626 927. VAT is not applicable under Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code.
BikeQuest is a recreational cycling web app. Riders pick quests, ride outside, upload proof photos or activity screenshots, and collect badges in their profile.
2. Account and access
You need an account to use the app. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for keeping your profile information accurate. BikeQuest may restrict access if an account is used to abuse the service, submit misleading proof, or break these terms.
3. Price and payment
BikeQuest is sold as one-time access. The current landing page shows €19 once: one-time payment. no subscription. Payment is handled by Stripe. BikeQuest does not store full card numbers.
4. Withdrawal, refunds, and support
If consumer withdrawal rights apply to you, you have 14 days from purchase to request withdrawal or a refund by sending an email to alexis.mouville@gmail.com with your account email and, if available, your Stripe checkout reference.
Legal exceptions may apply if BikeQuest gives immediate access to digital content or a digital service after your express consent and acknowledgement that you lose the right of withdrawal. Until that checkout consent is implemented, refund requests are handled by email. Statutory remedies for faulty digital content or services remain available where applicable.
5. Proof photos and rider content
You keep your rights in proof photos, activity screenshots, profile photos, usernames, and profile text. You give BikeQuest the limited permission needed to store, review, process, and display that content for quest validation, badge unlocks, profile features, support, fraud prevention, and service operation.
Do not upload illegal content, private information about other people without permission, unsafe riding footage, or proof you know is false.
6. Safety
BikeQuest is not a safety, medical, coaching, emergency, or navigation service. You are responsible for your route, equipment, weather, local rules, and riding decisions. Do not use your phone while riding. Stop safely before taking a photo or uploading proof.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, BikeQuest is not responsible for accidents, injuries, fines, equipment damage, route choices, road conditions, weather, or any harm connected with rides, outdoor activity, or the way you use the app. This does not limit liability that cannot legally be excluded.
7. Validation
BikeQuest may use automated checks and manual review to decide whether proof photos match a quest. Validation can be wrong. If a result looks wrong, contact support with the quest and account email.
8. Changes and availability
BikeQuest may change quests, badges, validation rules, or app features. We aim to keep the app available, but we do not promise uninterrupted access.
9. Privacy
Personal data handling is described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Seller details, law, and disputes
Seller and contact details are listed in the Legal Notice. French law applies where required by mandatory consumer protection rules. Consumer mediator details must be completed before public launch if BikeQuest sells to consumers in France.
