Open the guide for Picnic Benchhidden bench cycling challenge
Hidden Bench is a local discovery challenge that asks you to photograph a bench or quiet sitting place found during a ride. A bicycle, helmet, gloves or another cycling cue must also appear, connecting the peaceful spot to the route that led you there.

The bench does not need to be famous or dramatic. Its appeal can be the view, the shade or simply the feeling of finding a place to stop.
Seek a bench or quiet sitting spot encountered by bike and make that small discovery the focus.
Show the seating place and accepted cycling context clearly enough that the image reads as a ride discovery rather than an isolated landscape.
Provide one photograph. A wide enough view can establish why the spot feels tucked away while still keeping the qualifying objects legible.
Use spaces open to visitors, do not disturb occupants or wildlife, and keep paths and the seating area available to others.
Notice a calm place that others might pass and preserve its relationship to your ride in one photo.
