BikeQuest

Collection over competition

A cycling app for riders who do not want another leaderboard

BikeQuest gives rides a purpose through 36 small missions and badges, while leaving speed, distance and timing personal. There is no general leaderboard, required pace or race result.

At a glance

0

leaderboard

Riders are not ordered by speed, points or completion time.

36

personal prompts

Each mission provides a concrete reason to ride and notice something.

Your pace

your progression

Choose the quest, distance and date that fit the day.

A different objective

Replace comparison with a small mission

A ride can feel satisfying without becoming a performance test. BikeQuest asks the rider to find, photograph or complete something concrete instead of beating another person.

  • Look for a landmark
  • Complete a personal milestone
  • Collect the matching illustration

Useful for real life

Let short and ordinary rides count

Many missions can fit into a commute, coffee loop or relaxed weekend outing. The ride does not become less valuable because it was slow or short.

  • No minimum speed
  • Many quests have no distance threshold
  • No public result table

Still a clear finish

Use badges to mark progress without ranking it

The badge collection gives each completed mission a visible ending. Progress remains concrete while comparison stays outside the core loop.

  • One quest, one badge
  • Any completion order
  • Return after any length of break

FAQ

Questions and answers

Does BikeQuest track average speed?
Performance comparison is not the product focus. Milestone quests only use the specific distance, duration or elevation value required.
Can competitive cyclists still use BikeQuest?
Yes. BikeQuest can add a playful objective to a ride without replacing any training tools they already use.
Is there a points table?
BikeQuest is centered on completed quests and collectible badges rather than a general points leaderboard.
